Well, you know spring is right around the corner when it’s time for the Annual 5th District Residents Meeting! Please plan to attend this very important meeting to discuss issues of concern for our District and the Town in general….and have some snacks!
MAY is Permit FEE waiver month…..for many external home improvements. You must still complete the paperwork necessary to obtain the permit, however, you will not be charged for the permit during the month of May! Simply make sure that the repairs are completed by the last day of June or the standard permit fees will be assessed.
ATTENTION SENIORS!…..Don’t forget to inquire about the Senior Exemption for property taxes…simply call 998-2215 and ask to speak with a member of the Finance Department for more details…..also, THE AARP TAX-AIDE PROGRAM will be available for middle and low income residents age 60 and older every Thursday through April 11th at the OAK
GROVE SENIOR CENTER. For more information, or to schedule a time to meet with an AARP Representative, simply call 302-998-3319 – or stop in the Senior Center located in the Town Hall building (use entrance for the Elsmere Library).
